JOIN MTAQ 

Membership Types:

1. Small School Membership  Available to Queensland schools who have 1 or 2 practicing* marine or aquatic educators at their school. The teachers named can attend any MTAQ events at the discounted rate and receive the eNews.
2. School Membership Available to Queensland schools who have 3 – 4 practicing* marine or aquatic educators at their school. The teachers named can attend any MTAQ events at the discounted rate and receive the eNews.
3. Organisational members include government departments, other organisations or businesses with an interest in marine education, schools from other states/territories or schools with over 5 or more practising* teachers. Any teachers from the school can attend any MTAQ events at the discounted rate and receive the eNews.
4. Individual members include Supply Teachers and Persons Interested in Marine and /or Aquatics Education
5. Early Career Teachers in their 1st and 2nd year of teaching
6. Pre Service Teachers (PST) studying full time to become a teacher
7. Life member conferred at our annual conference, for extraordinary service to the association.

*Practicing – a teacher may be currently teaching or has taught a Marine or Aquatic subject within the past two (2) years. The Head of Department and Laboratory Technician, may also join under the school membership, however, they are included in the total number of members allowed per school category.
